Lipa started with a simple idea: well-made home pieces shouldn't cost as much as they do. The problem isn't the craftsmanship. It's the number of hands a product passes through before it reaches a shelf, each one adding its own margin.
How we work
We work directly with a small group of workshops across Asia and Europe, chosen for their craft rather than their price. That means we see the material before it becomes a product, and more of what you pay goes into the piece itself.
What earns a place
We add pieces slowly. Each one has to pass three tests.
It has to last. Solid oak, real brass, full-weight linen — materials chosen to age well.
It has to fit what's already there. Everything shares the same warm, quiet palette, so pieces bought months apart still belong together.
It has to be worth it. If we can't offer it well below what a comparable piece costs elsewhere, we don't list it.
A lighter footprint
For us, sustainability starts with that first test — a piece built to last simply doesn't need replacing.
Beyond that:
- Natural materials wherever we can — wood, seagrass, cotton, linen and ceramic
- Consolidated shipping, so an order travels once instead of several times
- Long-term relationships with a few workshops, built over years rather than reset each season

Shipping is free across the European Union, on every product, with no minimum order. You have 14 days from delivery to decide.
